Mother Dairy Launches Haldi Milk Latte
Keeping COVID-19 pandemic in mind, Mother Dairy has introduced butterscotch flavoured Haldi or turmeric latte that will help boost immunity of consumers. The turmeric latte is made with concentrated turmeric extract and each bottle of the milk is stated to deliver the same benefit as taking one teaspoon of Haldi powder in milk. Mother Dairy has created the Haldi milk based on the self-care guidelines and recommendations issued by the AYUSH ministry as preventive health measures for boosting immunity, amid the coronavirus outbreak. Turmeric contains curcumin, a flavonoid that supports a healthy immune response, thereby promoting general well-being. The goodness of Haldi has been known to Ayurvedic science for centuries. The price of the Turmeric latte is Rs 25 per bottle of milk.

Mars Wrigley has launched a dedicated online brand store called ‘Snickers® Store,’ on the popular online delivery app Swiggy. The SnickersStore will have all the well-loved brands such as Snickers, Galaxy, Mars, Bounty, M&M’S, Doublemint and Orbit. Upon ordering on the Swiggy app, Swiggy partners will home-deliver the products in select locations. Presently the partnership with Swiggy is operational across Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai.
In addition, Mars Wrigley products will also be available on the Urban Kirana tabs available on the Swiggy app in Delhi NCR and Bangalore. The company is looking at scaling up and covering more cities in the coming months. The digital commerce platform will enable Mars Wrigley to have more outreach. Responsible Whatr, offers water in recyclable aluminium cans that has been directly sourced from an untouched and completely natural source in Solan, Himachal Pradesh in the Himalayas. The water is rich in naturally balanced essential minerals and claims to have a pH of 7.4. The brand is using aluminium cans as a response to the government’s plastic waste management and elimination of single-use plastics by 2022.

Restaurants are preparing to resume operations as Unlock 1.0 begins in India. Pizza Hut, is now offering contactless dine-in across all operational stores in India. The company will also continue with its contactless delivery and takeaway facility which has been functioning throughout the lockdown. To assure customers the brand has been transparent about how the food is prepared, packed and delivered. Pizza Hut’s dine-in in stores will be contactless. right from accessing the menu via QR to making payments as the entire process is completely digitized. Ordering stations and seating have been re-aligned to maintain social distancing norms at all times. There will also be an extra food service table with each sit-down table, where the food will be placed by staff and the customer will pick it up and serve on their own.
Pizza Hut’s entire focus is on ensuring utmost Safety and Hygiene for both customers and employees. They are following the regulatory protocols and guidelines issued by the government, WHO and FSSAI. All stores are sanitizing kitchens and dining areas frequently and will continue. Every store will do temperature checks for walk-in customers and staff. Masks will be worn by restaurant staff at all times. Sanitizers have been installed at key touch points and servers will wash and sanitize their hands every 30 minutes. In addition, daily checks by store leads and quarterly inspection by area coaches are being done to ensure that food safety.
