Society Tea Launches Society Haldi Doodh
The premium Society Tea, has launched its immunity boosting Ayurvedic beverage, Society Haldi Doodh. Haldi Doodh or Turmeric Latte, is a premix, packed with the rich flavour of the Lakadong Haldi, grown on the foothills of Jaintia hills, Meghalaya. Lakadong Haldi is also referred to as the world’s best Haldi or wonder spice as it has a higher curcumin content, thereby strengthening its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Along with Lakadong Haldi the Haldi Doodh contains spices like, ginger powder, black pepper, cinnamon and Ajowan seed oil, all of which have immunity boosting properties. With the launch of this beverage, the company aims to help consumers adapt to a healthier lifestyle and build strong immunity. Hershey India to Collaborate with Baskin Robbins
Hershey India Pvt Ltd., has collaborated with leading ice cream brand Baskin Robbins to launch an exciting assortment of products. The two partners are likely to bring out five products in delightful combination of chocolates and cocoa powder with ice-cream. The new flavours of ice-creams and beverages are Hershey’s Chocolate Overload Ice Cream, Hershey’s Kisses Caramel Ice Cream, Nutty Affair Sundae, Chocolate Heaven and Thick Shake. The products will be available pan India and through delivery apps as well. Baskin Robbins India is confident that the new high-quality products will attract a new generation of consumers, while Hershey feels that the new innovative products will allow them to make more moments of goodness.
Vegease to Expand its Premium Cart-at-home Services
Vegease, the fresh produce retail platform, will be launching its services in UP and Haryana, including Manesar, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida. Launched in January 2021, the cart-at-home model has seen enormous success in NCR as the customer base doubled by April 2021. Since it began operations, Vegease has already achieved a turnover of INR 9 million, a customer base of over 15,000 in Delhi/NCR. By the end of 2021, Vegease will be operational across all major metros in south and west India, with a targeted turnover of INR 40 million in the current fiscal year. Vegease is a first-of-its-kind exclusive app that lets consumers shop for fresh and unadulterated fruits and vegetables from the comfort of their homes. The Belgian Waffle Co Opens 250th Store
India’s fastest growing dessert outlet chain, The Belgian Waffle Co., has recently opened their 250th outlet at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The company has indeed been hugely successful as its sells more than 40,000 waffles every day. From their one-store beginning in Mumbai in 2015, the speciality waffle franchise has beaten the odds and is now a brand with a phenomenal national presence in more than 75 cities. The Belgian Waffle Co is owned by parent company Bloombay Enterprises LLP and is the first speciality waffle QSR in the country.
The brand has been successful in introducing waffles to the typical Indian consumer and is now a leader in the category. Organic Food Brand Earthy Tales Expands Customer Base Across NCR
Organic farm-to-fork D2C food brand Earthy Tales has registered high double-digit growth, especially because of first-time customers. Earthy Tales is one of the chosen few agri start-ups under the Ministry of Agriculture’s RKVY RAFTAAR (2021 batch) scheme for start-ups that are working on innovation in the farming sector. The brand is focussed on building India’s most trusted and go-to portal for curated, wellness health products.
Earthy Tales currently operates in Delhi-NCR, where it delivers 300-plus chemical-free food products across 15-plus food categories to around 3000 families in the region. Procured directly from farmers, products reach Earthy Tales’ warehousing unit in Delhi, to be sorted, checked and packaged for the final orders logged on the brand’s website. The brand’s portfolio includes organic fruits, vegetables, pulses, ghee, cereals and spices. Earthy Tales aims to provide access to fresh, chemical-free organic food to consumers, and, to ensure a reliable, transparent revenue channel for farming communities.
Milk Magic Expands Products Portfolio
Milk Magic, a brand by owned by Jayshri Gayatri Food Products, and the parent company is all set to expand its product portfolio under both dairy and non-dairy products. Jayshri Gayatri is a leading dairy product manufacturer in the Central India. Seeing the increasing demand for Milk Magic dairy products, the company is all set to introduce five variants each of Milk Pouches and Flavoured Milk, as well as Dairy Whitener. United Spirits to Enter Craft Whisky Market
United Spirits Ltd. (USL) has entered the craft spirits’ market with the launch of United’s Epitome Reserve — a premium artisanal whisky. Epitome Reserve is a small batch of craft, artisanal whisky and also India’s first small batch and artisanal 100% rice whisky, which has been distilled in Punjab and matured in Goa. Epitome Reserve will be priced at par with USL’s other high-end imported scotch whiskies. These whisky bottles will be available on request or in very select premium outlets.
