Dear Sir,
We would like to know reason behind amendments of moisture contents values of soya products i.e. 7% (max.). Whereas some reputed Regulatory Organizations like Codex ailimentarious was decided max. moisture contents limit 10% (m/m) for Soya protein products. FDA and U.S. soy International Buyer’s guide mentioned Soya Meal moisture content max. moisture limit 12%. Also in those European and American countries avg. relative Humidity as compare to Indian environment is higher and Indian Environment is provided more safer environment for long Shelf life of Soya product. So please let us know what is exact reason for the previous amendment for the standardize of Soya products Moisture contents 7% only. Far less than other reputed Regulatory organization. Said amendment is seriously affected on our business specially with the abroad competitors.
Awaiting your reply
Kind Regard
