Mondelez India Launches Cadbury Chocobakes
Mondelez India has launched Cadbury Chocobakes Choc Layered Cakes. This is the company’s second launch under the choco-bakery category, after the successful launch of Cadbury Chocobakes Choco-filled Cookies. Mondelez India is expanding their portfolio as a chocolate snack beyond the chocolate bar. The individually wrapped chocolate cakes are convenient for in-home or on the go consumption. The company’s endeavour is to provide unique eating experiences for consumers and is confident that the Cadbury Chocobakes Choc Layered Cakes will open-up more avenues in the snack space, for daily consumption. The product will be on the shelves in July and will be priced at just Rs 10 for a single piece of 21 gm and Rs 60 for a pack of six. The launch will be supported by a 360-degree communication campaign.
Starbucks to Resume Dine-in services in Seven Cities
Tata Starbucks will resume dine-in services in seven cities across India. The dine-in services will open with enhanced cleaning and sanitising processes in place. The stores will operate with 50 percent seating capacity for social distancing between customers and employees. The cities where Starbucks will resume services are Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara.
Presently Starbucks is working to transform the in-store Starbucks experience to new public health guidelines and customer expectations. They also have in place the new safety and hygiene measures inside stores like temperature checks and facial coverings for customers, employee-partners and delivery personnel. There will also be a designated waiting area for takeaway customers to maintain social distancing.
Bonn Group Launches Cupcakes and Barcakes
The demand for cakes and bakery products is on the rise and it has become one of the most sold food segments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Momo chain will offer its products in three formats, dine-in, take away, and delivery in select CCD outlets in the country. Wow! Diageo India Launches ‘Raising the Bar’
Diageo India has announced the launch of its Rs. 75 crore programme,‘Raising the Bar’. ‘Raising the Bar’ is a two-year programme that will support the revival and recovery of the qualifying bars, pubs and restaurants serving alcohol in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru.
‘Raising the Bar’ programme was designed by Diageo India after a global survey of bar owners,to identify key priorities for reopening. Hygiene measures, digital support and practical equipment and training to transform outlets were the top priorities identified.
‘Raising the Bar’ programme will provide non-cash support which ‘hygiene kits’ with high-quality permanent sanitiser dispensers, medical grade hand sanitiser and masks and gloves and other help to formulate partnerships with online reservation and cashless systems; mobile bars and outdoor equipment.Bar owners will receive regular updates on best practice training and resources and be able to participate in global surveys to share insights, as they build back their businesses. Ordering through Amazon Pantry means customers get curated grocery and everyday essentials at good prices. They can choose from a selection of 3,000 products from more than 200 brands and get them home delivered within 1-2 days. They can also save up to 35 per cent on monthly groceries of staples and branded FMCG products.
