ITC’s Fabelle luxury chocolate boutiques to open in Delhi and Kolkata soon
Kolkata-based FMCG major, ITC Ltd, that makes the Fabelle luxury chocolate brand, has decided to open Fabelle stores outside the premises of its hotels. Presently ITC sells these premium chocolates in seven of its hotels in boutique stores. By September end Delhi and Kolkata will each have one ITC Fabelle store for which the spaces have already been identified. ITC has selected their own spaces is this first phase so as to ensure quality and the right kind of experience to consumers.
Limiting Fabelle to select company-owned hotels was effective and has helped the brand to establish itself in the luxury market. Therefore, last year ITC indicated that it had plans to now take the luxury chocolates outside its hotels. They have been since scouting around for the right kind of spaces keeping in mind the brand’s premium status and visibility factor. The company has considered select malls as well as Wills Lifestyle stores for Fabelle as these have greater accessibility and visibility.

N Chandrasekaran appointed Chairman of Tata Global Beverages
Tata Global Beverages Ltd has appointed N Chandrasekaran as Chairman with immediate effect as Harish Bhat has stepped down from this post.
