NutriParadise Talks with Certified Manufacturing Units to Produce Dietary Foods

These manufacturing units must adhere to national and international quality manufacturing standards. NutriParadise focuses on nutritious food to be supplied to hospitalized patients with special dietary needs. Presently these foods are being manufactured at the CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) pilot plant in Mysuru. All products are formulated after extensive research on each ingredient and processing methods. Serving size packaging helps to retain the wholesomeness of the products until consumption. But the use of 100 percent organic ingredients with no use of preservatives reduces the product’s shelf life and so the selective competition.
Presently the company has three products in their portfolio, Khichdi for diabetic patients, ProPotion – a health drink for general patients and an Omega 3 chutney powder for pregnant women and the general population. DiaSavior and GI-55 Khichdi, researched and tested under the guidance of CFTRI scientists and have helped diabetics get a nutritious meal with a sugar-free diet. With the rise in demand for special dietary foods, NutriParadise intends to expand its product portfolio to include foods for patients with chronic kidney disease, cancer, fatty liver and gastrointestinal, cardiac and neurological ailments. The three-year-old company has a tie-up with five hospitals and a consumer base of 1.2 lakh patients. Portfolio expansion will, therefore, enable them to capture a larger consumer base.
